BPI's Resource Center has been busy with many parents and Black men who participated in the HR Business Etiquette Seminar Series. They have utilized their new skills learned in the Resume and Cover Letter Writing and Job Search seminars by taking advantage of the computers available to them at BPI.

Many of the parents and men have participated in one on one mock interview sessions with our Supportive Employment Specialist and found that the very questions they prepped for were questions they had to answer in their actual interview; they were prepared!

A few of our parents have received job offers with US Bank, and several are scheduled for their second interview with promising new companies. Many of the parents said they would have never thought to even apply to most of the companies they are receiving interviews with because it seemed to have been a closed market. BPI's Supportive Employment Service has proven to be key in assisting parents begin financial stability
